Marcelle was born on June 20, 1932, in Paris, France to Simon Bonderman and Celine Neige. She had two older sisters, Renee and Jacqueline.  In July 1942, Marcelle and her family were rounded up by the French police and deported to the Drancy internment camp outside Paris. From there, they were transported to Auschwitz where Marcelle was murdered on August 28, 1942.
