I have huge respect and admiration for LEDI. Part of the reason the paintings and the music are so brilliant is that they offer us a way to think about the Holocaust without thinking only about death. This reminds us that there are plenty of living Jews now despite the attempt to eliminate them. We’re still a living, vibrant people that simply wants freedom from hate and the opportunity to illuminate their own lives and the lives of others.
